The optimal functioning of the human circulatory system is directly linked to the health of the blood vessel cells. The optimal function of the blood vessel cells is in turn directly related to the intensity of protein synthesis in these cells. Protein biosynthesis is the formation of new proteins in cells and thus the process of gene expression, which is of central importance for all living things and in which proteins are built up from amino acids according to genetic information.
